Legion Mountains Base

I am

Legion

I am many

my

selves

fight for

myself every

day, every breath

every

now

And

my freind

is so dark she

cannot see how I need

the light lest I be

consumed

take

them

all

And

my freind

is so light she

cannot see how I need

the dark to see

myself in

the lit

black

truth

I used to stand on top of fucking mountains

push my body to the break

hard against the edge

trembled muscles

turning from

tops of

earth

to

trunks

of tree and

find my peace

in pieces of the

wobbly worn stumbling

desperate dry tongue thirst

of the way back to people

back to what they

called

Home.

A

place

I found

once in blue

eyed rivers with

shade from gentle

brown peaks as hip

shaped moon begged

just

a little

closer.

Gone

gone gone

those days are

gone.

And

today I

am reminded

standing from wake

numb toed broken ankled

muscles trembling against

gravity

a stick for

balance I am

reminded of my

light from her dark

and my dark from her light

and the

mountains

may not be so

fucking high and

the view may not be

so blue eyed fucking beautiful

but I

stand

I still fucking

stand, no less a man

no less the man, today.
